Living Life in HD.....K

That's right. It has been over a year since I blogged. And yet, here I am again, trying my weak attempt as a virtual communicator to keep from having to write a paper I have due tomorrow. Some things never change I guess. Well so so so so so SO much has happened since my last blog. I'll just name a few as I can remember them:

  • I got engaged (no big deal)

  • I had no job, and then got my previous job back

  • Started graduate school

  • Saved up a lot of money for graduate school

  • Was in one of my best friend's wedding

  • Got married

  • Went on my Honeymoon to St. Lucia (best place ever!! can I go back now please!?!)

  • Earned a 4.0

  • Went to Indiana for the first time

  • Hosted a Halloween Party

  • Wrote my first grant

  • Was awarded a fellowship

  • Mowed my first lawn

  • Made flower arrangements for a wedding

  • Helped coordinate some weddings

  • Went to Atlanta four times

That is all I can remember right now. I am three weeks away from being halfway done with graduate school! I am so thankful and ready for a much needed break!! I am excited for what the summer holds. I have no plans right now for what I am going to do all summer besides take a summer course, two trips to Florida, and one to Mexico. Normally I would be freaking out, not having a plan and all, but surprisingly I am the most calm I have been in a while. And for that, I am thankful!

Here I Go Again

So, my first attempt at blogging didn't go over so well. I think once I realize how to make this page pretty I will want to blog more often. Or maybe when I get more interesting? Who knows? I'll try to start now and work my way up. So here is an update on things that are new since my Virgin Blog:

-New Car
-Mark got a job
-Lily (new dog! most posts will undoubtedly be about her)
-new job and now no job
-Biggest Loser Competition
-new friends
-21st birthday
-friends getting engaged and some having babies!
-learned self-defense
-I've really gotten into yoga
-I joined a small group
-Iphone (this had probably changed my life more than it should!)
-I've applied to graduate school
-Maddie turned 11

I know this may not seem like a lot but so so much has happened since then. I am really excited to see what the rest of the year holds. Two more months in 2009 and I have so much to do. My main anxiety lays with graduate school. I've decided to start as a non-degree seeking student in the Spring and then hopefully start the Social Work program in the Fall 2010. I am also hoping to get an assistantship through the university to help pay for everything. I hope that I am doing all I need to for everything to work out the way it should. Speaking of that, I should probably go work one of my last 3 papers of my undergraduate career... I'll let you know how it goes!

My Virgin Blog

So here I am in the blogging world.... instead of studying for my two tests tomorrow or writing my two papers due later this week. Oh well. Not the smartest thing I have ever done, but eh, I'm over it already. I am excited to see what all blogging holds before me!
